AIRCalc™, the Air Emissions Inventory Report Management software program, helps prepare emission inventories, environmental permits, and other regulatory compliance activities in the natural gas industry. The software was developed to effectively prepare comprehensive emissions reports for an entire facility by integrating the outputs of several software programs (available from various industry sources) that are currently being used for estimating air emissions. AIRCalc handles output from GRI-GLYCalc™ and GRI-HAPCalc™, American Petroleum Institute's E&P TANK and AMINECalc; and EPA's TANKS. These software programs estimate specific air emissions from sources such as storage tanks, glycol dehydrators, engines, turbines, and amine units. Since these software tools were developed independently, they are not able to share information. The same information often needs to be entered separately in each program. If a facility contains several different types of sources, it is cumbersome to combine the dissimilar outputs from each program into a consolidated report for the complete facility. To handle these inefficiencies, AirCalc can effectively store and organize a wide variety of facility and unit information; call up and run the emission estimation programs and store the results in an integrated database; import previously calculated emission estimates or accept manually entered data; prepare emission reports using one of the default formats or reports customized to meet a facility's specific needs; and export the contents of the database using standard word processing, spreadsheet, and database formats.
